\u201cThe political crisis in Ukraine has brought the level of tension to a top point and created a high level of no confidence in the world,\u201d the minister said, TASS reported. \u201cOur world is on the threshold of a new Cold War,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe lack of coordination in the activities of the international community, the ambitions cherished by some states to upset the existing balance of forces not only in Europe, but in the world in general, provokes deepening and expansion of conflicts. We have witnessed that attempts, made to change the situation in the \u201cunwelcome\u201d countries to suit someone\u2019s interests, have brought about large-scale consequences,\u201d Makei said.<\/p>\n
Belarus and Russia have faced \u201cnew challenges from the West,\u201d he said. \u201cThe United States continues creating ABM (anti-ballistic missile) and has enhanced NATO\u2019s activities near our borders,\u201d the foreign minister said. \u201cAll these developments demand our timely response.\u201d (inserbia.info, 18.11.2014)<\/p>\n
